Up for sale is a very nice&#######xA0;Orvis Impregnated Battenkill bamboo fly rod. This rod is 8' long and it is rated for a 6wt fly lines. Overall, the rod is in great lightly used shape and it is ready to hit the water. The bamboo looks superb and it is free of any defects.
Both of the tips and the butt section are straight, and they are full length. The cork handle is moderately soiled, but it still feels nice in your hand. Also, the reel seat hardware has some oxidation on it; however, you should be able to polish it up (the butt cap has some markings on it).
The male ferrules could use a cleaning, but they still fit as intended and they are tight. The last thing I need to mention is the original owners name is on this rod (from the factory).
This rod comes with the tube and the sock. The tube has light wear and the label has some markings.
