Hardy 7' 6 Palakona Bamboo Fly Rod was manufactured in May 1975 as indicated by the ML on the rod. I was working as a salesman in the fishing department and just had to have it. After I bought it, I was too nervous to take it out and fish with it.

It's been stored in its original aluminum case ever since. I've taken it out of storage a few times to admire it, but not to fish with it. Now at 65 and with a bad back and arthritis in my fingers, I will never be able to fish with this rod. Therefore, I have decided to sell it to someone who can enjoy it. You can see in the photos that the plastic is still on the handle, and where customers handled it.
