Sage 10th Anniversary Rod 8'9 #7 Weight & Billy Pate Trout Set #32 of 300. This set was built as a limited edition celebrating Sage's 10th year anniversary, it was built in 1990 in collaboration with Ted Jurasik Tool & Die with a Billy Pate Trout Reel. Factory built Sage 8'9 #7 weight 2 Piece fly rod along with a Billy Pate Anti-Reverse Trout both come in Holland & Holland Leather cases. Neither item has ever been fished, I took apart the Pate to clean up and replace any old grease and it works perfectly. The reel is mint and set for right hand wind, it can not be reversed.

The rod has never been fished and has been in it's Holland & Holland case for it's entire life. The Holland & Holland leather rod case has a couple small scuff marks. All in all the set is in near mint condition, neither the rod or reel has ever been used, any wear or imperfections are simply a matter of age. The kit also has the original instructions and tools for the reel, a commemorative pin and the original owners certificate.
