6' 9' 2/2 4wt Bamboo Fly Rod Q-Custom EX NR

  

Modern build has some unique features, particularly of note is the rose or very light bronze tone to all of the hardware - winding check, stripper guide, guides, ferrules and reel seat hardware all have a similar tone. Also unique is the cork pattern in the grip with one of the rings having an orange color in it that matches rest of rod. Two feathers are also set into top of the reel seat under the finish. Reel seat hardware looks possibly to be a copper toned aluminum alloy of some type. The ferrules are nickel silver and fit well with some type of coating on the welt and shoulders - see pictures.

Variegated orange and black thread wraps tipped peach or light orange. Ferrules have been over wrapped with a burnt orange colored thread in the R. Winston / Sweetgrass tradition and are in good condition - separating with a soft pop. Varnish is in good condition with no chips. Rod is inked Q - Custom 6' 9 4wt 4 oz. Rod weights 4.125 oz on digital scale. Very nice action and would be a delight on a small stream for trout or panfish. Nice looking rod is in very good condition and ready to fish with.
