Fortunately, I have a good friend who has acquired several original classic cane rods. He allows me to measure and duplicate the tapers. This one if from an original EW Edwards Deluxe seven footer, and is very delicate. A difficult rod to make due to the very fine splines. I would fish this rod with a 2-weight line.
