Eliteflies MX-C Competition Fly Rod. 10ft 4 piece- presented in free stylish triangular cordura divided tube with carry handle. Stunning black finish High quality Japanese 40 ton carbon. Medium tip action - great all rounder. Stylish Divided Cordura tube with carry handle. 4 piece, with hook keeper. This rod has been designed by myself a current England international fly angler and equipment expert. I designed this value rod with lochstyle fly fishing in mind, the action is medium tip so you are able to create a loop that will cast 3 or 4 flies. The rod is capable of throwing a decent line out but at the same time isn't too "stiff" to bounce off fish using barbless hooks. This all round rod offers exceptional value and a stunning finish and is great for catch and release fly fishing. The 8 weight really is a powerful rod and great for fishing floating lines through to heavy di lines, while the 7 weight has a bit more finesse and better for a more traditional approach but at the same time still suitable for sunk line work. This rod would be at home from a boat, from the bank on a reservoir or small water, or perfect for roll casting at night for seatrout in a river! We believe for the price bracket - it is a fantastic choice, and suitable from beginners right through to advanced casters.
