New Custom Made Small Stream Fly Rod 4 pcs 3 / 4 wt x 6-6 Plus A Redington Rod Case. Spring is finally here & if you are considering a new rod please check this one out. This is a very nice one of a kind custom made rod that you will enjoy for many years. It is a great casting fast action rod that will be a joy to fish on any small stream. The 6-6 length is also great when fishing from a canoe, kayak, or jon boat where long cast are not required.

The shorter rod is much easier to handle & much less likely to get broken. The case is only 24 long & will fit into most back packs or carry-on bags. Just add a reel, a lanyard w/ some basic tools, & a fanny pack full of flies & you are ready to fish.

All of the components used to build this rod were new top quality materials. The blank is a four piece 6-6 fast action graphite. It is rated for 3 or 4 weight line.

I test casted it with both. It cast very nicely with each one. I did get a little more distance with the 4 weight. The rod is winter green with a flat finish.

The wraps are winter green tipped with white thread. The uplocking reel seat is black aluminum, not plastic, & the insert is maple burl. Not a cork composite like you get with many rods.

The handle quickly distinguishes the rod as being custom made. The guides are single foot black & their placement is matched to this rod blank. It comes with a Browning rod case. Please consider this when comparing to rods that dont come with a case. I take a lot of pride in the rods that I build.
