Here for sale is this Norm Thompson Ultimate Bamboo fly rod. While attributed to Farlow, they were actually made by their subsidiary JS Sharpe in Aberdeen, Scotland.

I think the Midge must be closely related to the Lee Wulff rod which Sharpe made. Here's a page from the 1970 Farlow Export Catalogue for context (see Photos) While attributed to Farlow, they were actually made by their subsidiary JS Sharpe in Aberdeen, Scotland.

The Lee Wulff Midge rod is exactly the same length and weight 6 ft. This rod is in like new condition and comes in the correct bag and tube. Feel free to ask any questions.
