Phillipson Peerless 8' "5" Original Fantastic Used Condition - Rare Find & SOLID! If you are looking for a classic bamboo fly rod to fish a lot - this could very well be your rod. This is a classic Colorado made bamboo fly rod that is in fantastic original shape. There is one small rash on the end cap (see photo) but the rest of the rod is in primo condition.

The action is what I would call "dry fly" action and is slightly stiffer than many bamboo rods. The original tube does have 2 dents in it (see photo). If you want a solid classic bamboo fly rod, you will like this! I have not tried to clean anything on this rod.
