Winston LT 9ft 5wt 3 piece fly rod serial no. L Winston make exquisite rods built in Montana, USA. The LT is an absolute classic and favourite of Joan Wolff apparently. I've had this for years as my "posh rod" which only comes out on a few fishing trips over the season. Sadly these have been getting fewer and fewer of late. There are some very light signs of use - light scratches to the lacquer finish in places but not normally noticeable. There is one chip to the lacquer which is more noticeable and is between the handle and first guide. This is about 1 millimetre in size. I have shown it in the photographs. It is to the lacquer only and not the underlying carbon fibre. The cork handle is immaculate with very few signs of use. The ferrules and guides are all immaculate. The reel seats etc are all functioning properly and as you'd expect, the nickel? Plating has some slight tarnishing / patina.

All in all a beautiful rod that is a delight to fish with. It has a nice slowish / forgiving action. Comes with butt extension, original R.
