This rod is 9' long and it is rated for a 9wt fly line (the actual length is right around 9' 3; the fighting butt and the gap in the spigot ferrules add a few extra inches). Overall, this rod does show some wear; however, it is in perfect working order and it is ready to hit the water. The unsanded blank is rather clean and it only has minor wear. The cork handle is a tad dirty and it could use a cleaning. Please note, the rod sock should be cleaned or replaced; it leaves black dust on the rod (it looks like a lot of the wear on the cork handle is actually residue from the sock). The spigot ferrules fit as intended and this rod has a nice action.
