Up for sale is a very nice&#######xA0;EC Powell bamboo fly rod. Although this rod does have a few minor setbacks, it is a fairly nice example of an&#######xA0;EC Powell fly rod. The first thing I noticed about this rod is it does not have a stripping guide. &#######xA0;The last main thing I need buyers to be aware of is the spare tip has a few minor setbacks.
&#######xA0;The first being a small splice about 14 down from the tip guide (see photo). Also, on the same tip section it looks like the tip guide wrapping has partially unwrapped.
The rest of the rod does show its age and&#######xA0;it has cosmetic wear; however, no major defects to mention. The good tip does have a small fishing set and the hook keeper wrapping is beginning to unwind. As you can see from the photos, the cork handle and the reel seat have markings. The ferrules fit tight, but they do need a good cleaning. They measure 19/64 and 13/64. This rod is 9&#####x2019; long and its actual length is 5oz. Comes with the tube and sock (they both look original).&#######xA0;Please&#######xA0;see all of the photos and&#######xA0;thank you&#######xA0;for looking. &#######xA0; &#####x2022; It is important to me that the item you receive is the item you were expecting.
